Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet und liebevoll - praktisch eingerichtet. Es befindet sich auf einem großem, nicht einsehbares Grundstück. Wald und Wanderwege sowie der Westerwaldsteig liegen direkt vor der Türe.

Camping Waldfrieden

Our Camping Site is situated slightly outside of Saarburg, in the Trier-Saarburg region. Be welcome to find numerous attractions and activities a very short drive away. There are many beautiful walks and cycling tours that you can start from right outside the Camping Waldfrieden into the neighbouring woods, or discover the nearby rivers Saar and Mosel.The site is an ideal position for touring our „next door neighbour“ countries the Saarland, France or Luxemburg. Or go on a daytrip to Trier.

For the times of the year that are not so bright we offer paved standings for mobilhomes, campers and caravans, as well as a pub, a lounge and a covered terrace.

Camping
We are a family run site situated in a slightly remote valley surrounded by meadows, woods and hills on and is set in approx. 6,5 acres of well maintained land. Out of the way of traffic but nevertheless not far from the centre of the more than 1000 year old wine-growing town Saarburg (Centre approx. 1,5 km).

Facilities: Tent pitches, marked-out pitches, convinience pitches, paved standings for mobilhomes, campers and caravans, Barbeque and camp fire site, Childrens play area, special rainy-day kids room, table tennis, volleyball field, small swimming-pool (3,8 x 8 x 1,2 m) and more.

Heated central toilet block, baby care room, facilities for the disabled, chemical emptying point, laundrette with dryers, pub-restaurant, gas cylinder sale, public phone, cycle hire, bakery service and more.

Pitches
Our pitches are made to meet a variety of requirements. Lawn pitches, partially and fully paved pitches (paved with lawn-checker-bricks) sized from 85 to 110 square meters.

Mobile Home Pitches
All mobile home pitches are paved with lawn-grating-stones lawn-checker-bricks, are level, easy to reach, and are equiped with a electic hook-up (16 Ampere). The water- and wastewater unit is located centrally and easy to reach.

Playground
For our small guests we offer a playground, a swimming-pool,a mountain bike course and a rainy-days kids room. In the peakseason we have handicrafts and entertainment hours several times a week.

Sanitary facilities
Our toilet and shower block was completely rebuilt a few years ago and is fully equipped. The sanitary building is heated.

Seperate Kids washroom, kingsize showers with walk-in changingroom, individual washbasins.

Facilities specially equipped for the disabled has a separate entrance.

Sourroundings
Only 1,5 km and you are in Saarburgs historical centre. A romantic waterfall with it’s mill wheels lends the old part of town it’s character, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and lovely shops.

Right next to our site there is a heated adventure indoor- and outdoor pool. Covered tenniscourts and Bowling Alley, Boat tours on the Saar, a summer toboggan slide, the watersports centre in Schoden, as well as numerous hiking- and cycling trails alongside the Saar and Mosel round off the choice of sights and leisure activities in the Trier/Saarburg region.
