Weingut & Ferienhaus Gorges-Müller

Dear friends of wine and the Mosel region,

we welcome you to our website and we are glad that you want to know more about us, our wine and our Weingut (Wine estate). Like it happens when you get married, two people come together, but in this case also 2 wine companies came together which we both acquired from our parents. Weingut Müller-Polf in Burgen and Weingut Gorges-Reef in Wintrich is converted into Weingut Gorges-Müller. Most of our grape fields are situated in the surroundings of Wintrich and Burgen, but some are situated in the neighbouring villages.

In our wine estate in Burgen we process our wines. You will find more with us then only excellent wines. Comfortable and inexpensive guestrooms in Wintrich and in Burgen a marvellous, cosy, small wine farmers house from the early 19. century, which we have renovated perfectly and decorated and furnished all new, are at your disposal; an ideal base for a wonderful holiday. We were spoon-fed with wine .

Therefore it is not a miracle that we both choose in our early years for a viticulture education which we completed together with success; a guarantee for an ecological tolerant way of wine-making and marvellous wines. Following tradition, not obliged at old ways and closed for novelties, we continue both companies in Burgen and Wintrich. With us you will find sublime traditional Mosel wines, which you may already know and expect from us. But you will also find with us the modern hand of the young generation of wine-makers. We have expanded our assortment with red wines, sparkling wines, a grape juice and Secco. Cold fermented white wines new art, at the tongue as well as in decoration, have contributed into making new friends. A lot of know-how, consistent striving for quality in the wine mountains and cellar and the courage to take new courses surely have a part in this.
