Campsite
The campsite (owned by the city of Echternacherbrück), with its own outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area with snack bar, is nicely situated on a riverbank and ranges 1000 metres along the river “the Sauer”(the boarder to Luxembourg). The campsite is equipped with very modern sanitary facilities. In the surrounded area you can find: a mini golf court, a tennis court, an indoor swimming pool, ultra light flying, hiking- and biking trails, a skittle alley and so one. You can relax in an agreeable climate and experience the region “the South Eifel”.

On the campsite you can find:

Welcome! Our campsite is located in central Germany close to the rivers Nahe and Rhine and the Hunsrück hills, and only a few miles away from the motorways A61 and A60.

Far away from the madding crowd, but certainly not isolated, you can completely relax in the peaceful and quiet country side where our campsite is situated.

However, the Nahe country has a lot to offer: the excellent local cuisine, historic ruins, activity programmes like the Barfußpfad - a footpath that you have to walk on bare feet - or the Nahe cycle path and of course relaxation in one of the three nearby health centres.

The campsite is open fro march 1st untill december 31st. From 1.pm until 3 pm the entrance is closed (lunch break). Night's rest is between 10 pm and 7 am

Camping Waldfrieden

Our Camping Site is situated slightly outside of Saarburg, in the Trier-Saarburg region. Be welcome to find numerous attractions and activities a very short drive away. There are many beautiful walks and cycling tours that you can start from right outside the Camping Waldfrieden into the neighbouring woods, or discover the nearby rivers Saar and Mosel.The site is an ideal position for touring our „next door neighbour“ countries the Saarland, France or Luxemburg. Or go on a daytrip to Trier.

For the times of the year that are not so bright we offer paved standings for mobilhomes, campers and caravans, as well as a pub, a lounge and a covered terrace.

We are a family run site situated in a slightly remote valley surrounded by meadows, woods and hills on and is set in approx. 6,5 acres of well maintained land.
