Almond and fig trees are not into the Pfalz rarenesses. But a 70-jaehriger lemon tree, Kiwis and cape prick berries, how they grow on the rehearsing yard, are even unusual for the sun-delicate Mittelhaardt. Senior Zimmermann's exotic hobby underlines once more the particularly 11ptclimatic conditions, which make the wine village Haardt one of the prominent viticulture municipalities of the Pfalz. 1950 married Kurt Carpenter, who originates from a winegrower family in guard home, in which since generations viticulture one operates, after Haardt. In the Kelterhaus weinproben for up to 100 persons can be organized. The cosy, rustikal arranged wine trying room offers place up to 50 guests. Here the family Carpenter holds led weinproben off (on vorbestellung, starting from 12 persons), by the way when desired also with Pfaelzer specialities such as Rieslingschinken, sow stomach or a winegrower plate.
