Welcome to the vinery and apartments of Stefanie Vornhecke
The boutique styled winery was founed by Stefanie Vornhecke in 2001. One hectar of selected vineyards in the Mosel valley around Senheim are the base for my premium Riesling wines. These are inspired by the grey slate soils from the Devon period and I put all my efforts into the creation of authentic and natural Rieslings. The winery is open for tastings and sale Tuesday to Saturday 5-7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or by appointment).
As far as we are at home you are welcome at other times too. In our tasting room we have space for up to ten persons, in our press house we can host groups up to thirty persons. We also offer guided walks to the vineyards and cellars by appointment (in German or English).
Our apartments
Since 2009 we offer two light and friendly apartments for your holiday accomodation (for 2 or 4 persons). Enjoy the wide view into the marvellous Moselle valley while sitting on the large balcony which belongs to each apartment. Our house is situated right next to the vineyards on the edge of the village Senheim so you can either reach the local restaurants, cafes and bakery in a few minutes walk or go for a walk through the vineyards or on the banks of the Moselle.
